Citizen app
This series was made in response to seeing so many "nude" captions on the Citizen app - Nude Man in Vernon Park, Nude Man Breaking Door in, etc. I like the idea of generating sculptures using these random events. The poses came from men's fashion photography, they are 12" high and modeled in a two part modeling compound that hardens like stone in an hour and a half. The figures are built like an exquisite corpse - I modeled each part one at a time to completion - to surface finish - no subsequent filing or sanding.
